This morning I participated in Codeforces Round 1115 (Div. 2). I solved the first two problems (caught a bug after failing the second problem!), and was stuck on the third. I'm not very good at competitive programming, but I was feeling today that there is so much opportunity to grow the problem-solving muscle in my brain. I'll try to upsolve the remaining problems soon, maybe tomorrow morning (before the next codeforces competition!).

I would really like to read Clarice Lispector at some point. I've seen her name mentioned twice by two different people on the internet who seem interesting to me. From excerpts and descriptions, her writing seems so pure and strong. The kind of writing that reminds me how words together are more than their basic meanings, and reading is more like tickling our senses to provoke some richer, half-spontaneous dream (to dream someone else's dream!).

The excerpt I heard was in a video reading the first two paragraphs of Lispector's Agua Vida. One person commented something I appreciated, and for some reason I decided to reverse image search their profile picture and found the creator's website. I think it was the shape of these words or art that made me want to revisit another person I really like, hardmaru. His real name is David Ha and he has some really cool research like World models and HyperNetworks. Big fan of his design style (as well as sakana.ai's). If you hunt around for a bit on otoro.net you'll find some really cool (cute!) demos :).

Lastly, I've been following the development of Ladybird and today they posted a development update video for June and July. The project always makes me really excited and I hope for their continued improvement!
